Based in Sedgefield we offer lessons for all abilities from experienced instructor Elizabeth North. Beginners to advanced all abilities welcome. Also offering livery packages to suit.
Lessons
We offer riding lessons for all abilities and are carried out in our fantastic facilities. All lessons are taught by Liz North, who is a licensed BHS Intermediate instructor.

Group Lesson
1 hour lesson with other riders of the same ability. Maximum 6 riders per class. Focusing on jumping, flatwork, and general horsemanship. Lesson times are on weekends 9am - 12pm.
Private Lessons
Private lessons are suitable for complete beginners and advanced riders alike. 1 hour or 30 minute lesson on a 1 to 1 basis. Focusing on areas of riders choosing.
Beginner Lessons
These groups are designed specifically for complete beginners. the horse or pony will be led or on a lunge line until the rider feels comfortable without assistance.
Saturday Club
Spend Saturdays morning down at the yard, learning all aspects of horse care from mucking out to first aid to tack maintenance. The Saturday Club also includes a lesson with Liz.
Pony Camps
Week long pony camps during school holidays, Monday to Friday. A week filled with all aspects of horse, equipping young riders with the skills for horse ownerships. For dates, please contact Liz directly.

Booking and Cancellation Policy
All lessons can be booked by contacting Liz via Facebook or over the phone: 07814 526830.
Southmoor Riding Centre requires 24 hours notice of cancellation for all bookings. We do charge the full cost of the lesson if 24hrs notice is not given. Should your lesson be cancelled for a reason beyond our control, your payment will be carried over to your next lesson.
