We are a fully licensed riding centre, licensed by Durham County Council. Our team of experienced instructors and well-trained horses are dedicated to providing a safe and enjoyable riding experience for all our clients.
Group Lessons
Join our group lessons and learn to ride in a fun and supportive environment. Liz will help you build a strong foundation of riding skills while you enjoy the company of other riders.
Private Lessons
Experience personalised one-on-one instruction with our private lessons. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced rider, Liz will tailor the lesson to focus on your specific goals and needs.
Livery Services

Facilities
At Southmoor Riding Centre we are able to offer the use of an indoor and outdoor arena. Our indoor is 20m x 60m, with a rubber matting surface and our outdoor sand school is 15 x 50m. With a range of jump wings, fillers and poles we can provide show jumping courses as well as flat work sessions with our dressage arena markers.
